Our Philosophy
At B.O.L.D, we believe that children learn best through hands-on exploration and self-directed activities, which aligns with the Montessori Method. Our curriculum fosters bilingual language development, allowing children to become fluent speakers in both English and Spanish. Through our Touch Spanish Program, we specifically focus on making Spanish for children an engaging and enriching experience, helping them develop a love of learning.
Our Curriculum
The B.O.L.D curriculum is designed around the Touch Spanish Program and the Montessori Method, promoting bilingual language development through practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language development, and cultural studies. Our program is tailored for learners of all ages, from 2 years old to adults, making it an excellent choice for Spanish for children.
Our Teachers
Gabimarie Merino, the owner and developer of B.O.L.D., was born in Lima, Peru, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. As a certified Montessorian guide, director, and trainer, Gabimarie has dedicated 30 years to the Montessori Method and has taught Spanish for 25 years, focusing on bilingual language development for children.
Gabriela Wilcox, the developer of the Touch Spanish Program, is also a Montessori guide, owner, and trainer. With an impressive 42 years of experience as a Montessori guide and 54 years teaching Spanish, Mrs. Wilcox is passionate about promoting Spanish for children through the Montessori approach.
Our Programs
B.O.L.D - A hands-on approach to learning dual languages at a young age, emphasizing bilingual language development. It incorporates the Montessori Method and the Touch Spanish Program, a Montessori-based language initiative designed to facilitate Spanish for children from an early age. This user-friendly, vibrant, and engaging method makes it easy for learners of all ages to acquire new languages. Currently, we support English and Spanish.
